How payments work.
Yeema is a design and development studio. Every engagement is custom-quoted. There is no self-service checkout on this website. This page explains how payments work from the first call to final delivery.
Free intro call
You book a 20–30 minute intro call via our booking page. We discuss scope, timelines, and budget. There is no cost and no obligation to proceed.
Written quote
After the call we send a written quote by email (or a short proposal document) setting out deliverables, timeline, and a fixed or estimated fee in pounds sterling. Work does not start until you accept in writing.
Secure payment link
Once the quote is accepted, we email you a secure payment link. Small revisions and low-value work are paid in full upfront. For larger projects (landing pages, MVPs, custom builds) we take a 50% deposit before work begins and invoice the 50% balance on delivery. You pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express). We never take card details over the phone and nothing is entered or stored on this website.
Delivery and (where applicable) final balance
We design, build, and deliver the agreed scope. For projects paid 50/50, we email a second secure payment link for the 50% balance on completion. Deliverables (source code, design files, deployed websites) are handed over via GitHub, email, or direct project access once the final payment has cleared.
Payment structure
How payment is split depends on the type of work. The split is always confirmed in the written quote before we start.
Small fixes, copy updates, and minor revisions from £35. Paid in full on the first payment link so we can start immediately.
Larger engagements are split 50/50. The deposit secures the slot and covers early work; the balance is invoiced once the agreed scope is delivered.
Payment details
Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via secure payment link, emailed to you after a quote is accepted. We do not accept cash or cryptocurrency.
All invoices and payment links are issued in pounds sterling (GBP).
No card details are entered on yeema.studio itself. Payment always happens on a secure third-party payment page, which you reach from the link we email you. Card payments use 3D Secure (Strong Customer Authentication) in line with UK PSD2 requirements.
We are not currently VAT registered, so VAT is not charged. If our VAT status changes, VAT will be added to future quotes and invoices at the applicable rate.
Refunds and disputes
Refund terms are set out in section 6 of our Terms & Conditions. For any payment query, refund request, or card dispute, contact [email protected] with your invoice reference. We respond to billing enquiries within 5 working days.
If you believe a payment has been made in error, contact us first so we can resolve it directly and quickly.
